Why Study in France?
6 compelling reasons to choose France for your studies.
Exceptional Value at Public Universities
The French government heavily subsidizes higher education, capping annual tuition for non-EU international students at just €2,770 ($3,000) for Bachelor's and €3,770 ($4,100) for Master's programs at public universities. This is a fraction of the cost compared to the US, UK, or Australia, with no compromise on academic quality.
Global Powerhouse in Business & Engineering
France is home to some of the world's most elite Grandes Écoles, with HEC Paris, INSEAD, and ESSEC consistently ranking in the top 10 globally for Business and Management. In engineering, institutions like École Polytechnique and CentraleSupélec are feeder schools for Fortune 500 companies and aerospace giants like Airbus and Dassault.
Thriving Startup Ecosystem & 'French Tech' Visa
Station F in Paris is the world's largest startup campus, housing over 1,000 companies. The government's 'French Tech Visa' is a fast-track, 4-year residence permit specifically designed for founders, employees, and investors in the tech ecosystem, making the transition from student to entrepreneur seamless.
Rich Cultural Immersion in the Heart of Europe
Studying in France offers more than just a degree; it's a lifestyle. With 49 UNESCO World Heritage sites, world-renowned gastronomy, and a central location allowing weekend trips to 8 neighboring countries, students gain unparalleled cultural capital. The government also subsidizes cultural access, offering free museum entry to those under 26.

Admission Requirements
Bachelor's Degree & Transcripts
A recognized 3 or 4-year Bachelor's degree with consistent academic performance. For engineering or science Master's, a strong background in quantitative subjects is essential.
Language Proficiency (French/English)
C1 level in French (DALF C1) is standard for French-taught Master's. For English-taught tracks, IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+ is the norm. Management programs may require GMAT (600+) or GRE (310+).
Letters of Recommendation
Two to three academic or professional references. French institutions prefer detailed, narrative letters that speak to your research potential or professional acumen, not just generic praise.
Research Proposal (for Research Master's)
A clear, concise 3-5 page research proposal outlining your intended thesis topic, methodology, and literature review. This must align with the research interests of a potential supervisor at the host lab.
Test Prep
Ace your standardized exams with free practice tests and study materials.
